Bolt Action - 28mm WWII Gaming

Hi FGC folks!

I have been in touch with Warlord Games, and they have very kindly sent a free starter set for Bolt Action, so I can tempt others to join myself, Josh and Dave in some World War 2 gaming!

The rules are sweet and you can put together an army for a great price - which leads me on to...

If anyone is interested, I have some intro models for two factions - US Airborne (Band of Brothers!) and German Grenadiers. If you are keen for either of these then let me know - at the best possible price of free!

- US force cosists of 24 plastic multi-part Airborne, and 5 American Order dice (drawn at random and used to activate units).

-German Force consists of 12 plastic multi-pose Grenadiers, 1 plastic Sd.Kz 251/10 Ausf D (Pak 36) half track (basically a half tracked transport with a small anti tank gun!) and 5 German order dice.

The box also has a ruined farmhouse which I will knock up and paint, enough pin markers, templates and tokens to make a communal pool (plus I have tonnes already which I will add), and a 2nd edition rulebook!

Who's using what at the moment? Early or late war?

I’ve got late war Europe theatre Germans and Brits, and am about to do an earlier war Afrika Korps army. Josh has brits, Europe and Africa. I think Dave has Europe Germans and Yanks?

It's platoon level WWII gaming, so a couple of squads of guys with some support in the shape of specialist infantry teams, towed guns or tanks. Warlord do some damn good starter deals, but Mike has some stuff from warlord going too.
