As part of the commemoration of the month of October, dedicated to raising awareness about breast cancer, MOBILITY ADO , the leading socially responsible company in transportation and comprehensive mobility, began the twelfth edition of its “ADO Pink Caravan” ; an initiative that began in alliance with FUCAM , and that this year, grows with new allies such as ASISTENCIA TOTAL and SCANIA to bring more mammograms to new locations. MOBILITY ADO, through its brands ADO, Estrella de Oro and OCC, in addition to facilitating the diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer in Mexico, promotes the importance of early detection, through free mammograms and complementary studies for all women. 40 years and older, from the center, gulf, south and southeast of Mexico.
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), breast cancer represents the leading cause of death from cancer in women and, in recent years, the number of deaths caused by this disease has increased alarmingly. Figures from the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) show that annually more than 400,000 women are diagnosed with breast cancer, of which about 25% die from it. Given this scenario, and with the New Zealand Email List commitment to facilitate diagnosis, treatment and specialized follow-up, during the months of October and November, the Pink Caravan will tour the different terminals of the country to start its campaign and promote the awareness message “My strength is in the detection". This 2023, more than 1,500 free mammograms will be made available in several cities in the country, through two dynamics, the first with care from FUCAM medical units arriving at the terminals of San Cristóbal de las Casas, Chiapas, Chilpancingo, Guerrero , and , Veracruz, in addition to Oaxaca, Oaxaca where the attention will be directly at the FUCAM facilities, so those interested will have to previously request their pink pass at the ADO Oaxaca terminal.
The second dynamic consists of requesting the “Pink Passes” at the corresponding terminals, to receive care in laboratories affiliated with ASISTENCIA TOTAL , which will be available in the terminals of the cities of Puebla, Pachuca, Tampico, Veracruz, Villahermosa, Mérida and Cancun. It should be noted that, like every year, free transfers to Mexico City will be provided for those patients who require a second evaluation and treatment with FUCAM. After 12 years, Rosa ADO has performed more than 12,000 mammograms nationwide and has provided more than 3,000 travel courtesy to follow up on the respective treatments. Rosa ADO, has previously been awarded an EFFIE in the Social Impact category, a contest that recognizes the most effective communication strategies: ideas that have yielded superior results in meeting the objectives for which they were designed and, therefore , become references to inform and educate about effective communication.
