DOWNTIME
With all territories under the occupation of the Gangs, so begins downtime. Games played this Monday and on Monday the 5th of August are not for territories and no creds or Rep can be gained from these battles. Credits can still earned from Loot Crates as normal. Fighters gain exp as normal. Income is collected once per week as normal.
In downtime players choose from the following scenarios (or roll a D6):
1. Murder Cyborg 2. Archaeo Hunters 3. The Gauntlet 4. Spook Harvest 5. Monster Hunt 6. The Conveyor (book of peril)
But! Before games are played the following things happen:
1. Players gain (2000-GR)/2 [rounded up to nearest 5] credits to be spent on fighters and wargear from house lists. This can be supplemented with existing funds but is lost if unspent. 2. All captives are released. 3. All fighters leave recovery. 4. Juves with 3 or more advancements can be promoted to be champions.
IMPORTANT NOTE: It is now possible for Gang leaders to die, like permanently, as in dead-dead.

THE DEN OF SCOUNDRELSP.I.S.S. vs The G-G-G-G-Giga Ghosts / Smash and Grab PISS were pissed off that the Guild had them guarding their stash. They were meant for more than this! Tecton had his eyes set on loftier ambitions than being The Guild of Iron’s little biitch! The were PISS for throne’s sake. Not MYNJ or SPAFF or even those bums who called themselves QEEF!This place was known as somewhat of a Den of Scoundrels. Why the Guild had chosen for the goods to be stored up here was a puzzle to Tecton. Still, he didn’t give a sump rat’s ass, as long as he got paid. Just then he heard the faint slide of a door being opened. Knowing for a fact that no one would be within fifty clicks of this place unless they wanted trouble, Tecton gave the signal. Within seconds photo goggles snapped into place and PISS were combat ready...
++ - We roll for mission and roll snakes. Gaz, hungry for creds and glory goes for Smash and Grab.
- Gaz chose to haul the Guild’s stash all up in one small chamber and deployed his entire gang right outside the door within a larger chamber. The smaller only accessible via the door and an access vent with two other entrances.
- I deploy The Ghosts right outside the door to the larger chamber hoping to deliver a plasma cannon blast to the heart of PISS before he had chance to get his smoke down - this was not to be.
- PISS branch out in all directions. Well rehearsed combat routines playing out exactly as planned. The Ghosts have no choice but to fall back and wait for an opportunity to strike when the smoke cleared.
- A hive quake shakes Gunk Springs, revealing a loot crate and opening up a few extra vents. I jump on the loot crate with my leader and Gaz throws smoke through the vents.
- A lowly Guild scummer spots an opportune moment and blasts established Giga Ghost, Hadron Helix in his spinal column with a sawn-off shotgun. Hadron is grievously injured (-1T).
- The newly revealed loot crate turns out to be another Incendiary device. Luckily, Kellin’s carapace armour keeps him safe from harm and he doesn’t set on fire.
- I decide I’ve seen enough smoke to last me a lifetime and do a bottle. Time to bite the bullet and get some goggles I think.
- Gaz earns 2D6X10 creds for every ammo crate protected... a whopping total of 3! PISS are moving up in the world.
- Hadron Helix is sent to an expensive doc and is fully healed but his memory is wiped as a side effect [he was retired and replaced]
- PISS breaks it’s alliance with the Guild of Iron for interfering too much in their affairs.

Archeo-Hunters
Trojan MC vs Stonecutters The Trojan MC and Stonecutters had both heard about a cache of exotic goods nearby and wanted some action. Most of that action took place in about 72 square inches of corridor, with the automata in the middle. The Trojan MC made an aggressive start, opening the door to the killing floor, giving Mr burns the opportunity to do this: He was swiftly gunned down by the Luggers heavy bolter. All of 5 of the webbed Trojan MC recovered after a couple of turns while the two gangs traded pot shots, as soon as the MC made their way dopwn the corridor it all went horribly for the stonecutters, getting assaulted by bolt guns and scatter shot. The stonecutters were able to activate the Automata on 3 consecutive turns, taking out 3 of the MC, one of them Visla, but the onslaught proved too much for the Stonecutters who bottled after losing two thirds of their gang, leaving the Trojan MC to penetrate the Vault. Of note: Stonecutters opened two loot crates, no traps. Trojan MC opened one. Trojan MC took 6 out of action, Stonecutters took 5. Stonecutters suffered the following injuries: Abe the Juve - dead Ambot - Critical injury, saved by dok to enfeebled Ned - Critical injury, saved by dok to enfeebled - captured by the MC Mr Burns - Critical Injury, saved by dok to miraculous recovery Kang - Eye Injury Lenny - Out Cold Can we get a most injuries triumph next campaign? This brings my total injuries up to 17 (13 stat debuffs, 4 saved by the dok in one form or another), including 3 KIA

THE TAKEOVER PHASEAnd so begins the takeover phase. No more looking over your neighbours’ fence wishing you could live there, now you can! It’s time to ruthlessly take what’s yours and not by careful negotiation and cooperation, no, by using bullets, las bolts and grenades! The next 3 (official) Necromunda sessions will take place as follows: - Players will challenge each other for each other’s territories. The gang with the lowest amount of territories has the priority. If both players have the same number of territories then the player with the lowest GR has priority.
- The challenger selects an opponent then picks one of their Territories to attack.
- If the challenger wins they steal the Territory. If the defender wins they keep the Territory.
- The challenger is always the attacker in scenarios where this is applicable.
- Scenarios are chosen in the normal way.
- The defender automatically has the home turf advantage in any mission played (hangers on take part in the battle on a 4+, 2D6 and pick the lowest for bottle checks).
- This phase will last until September 16th aka campaign end.
Time to get ruthless muthafukaaaaas

THE WEAPONS DEALERSHIPGear Heads VS Giga Ghosts / The Marauders Kellin had been gone a while. Collecting profits from the Pleasure House didn’t normally take this long. Florian shot Tillian a glance, he looked anxious too, nervously fidgeting with the safety switches on his Laspistols. Something was off, Florian could feel it in his gut. Determined not to look weak in front of the Juves, Florian got to his feet and adopted a confident stance with his chest held out slightly more than it was normally. It worked... to an extent. His mouth dry, he sucked on a tube sticking out of his suit’s collar. The recycled body sweat his suit had gathered didn’t taste much better than body sweat but it was better than dying of thirst. He was beginning to wonder weather he would be merely choosing between the lesser of two evils for the rest of his life when Jaxon came sprinting in. Jaxon was a Dome Runner, sprinting is what he did best.“Gear Heads, outside!”These tech-freaks would pay for stepping on Ghost territory. Florian didn’t feel anxious anymore. He shouldered his Plasma Cannon.“Time to dance boys. Let’s make them regret they were ever born!”++ - Josh being the underdog hires Grub Targeson (executioner shotgun, infiltrate) and draws 4 additional Tactics Cards. We both had our gang Leaders sitting out in Recovery.
- I have the home turf advantage and my Dome Runner sticks around for the fight.
- I play a sub-plot card making my whole gang suffer +2 to their Cool but if I win the game, everyone gets +D3 exp. Too tempting to pass up! (this would screw me later)
- Josh played a tactic card to give 3 fighters a free move before the game begins, and uses it to plant his GL champ in a pretty nifty firing spot. Lucky I get priority and move one vulnerable ganger to safety. The other catches a Krak grenade. Boom OOA.
- Bad start for the Ghosts. I retaliate moving my plasma cannon champ out and blasts Josh’s GL champ. Seriously injured. Josh plays *click* robbing my Plasma Cannon of any damage potential.
- Josh opens a loot crate of Second Best. Time to get boozy!
- Time for D3 of my reinforcements to show up. ONE does but Josh gets to place him. He does so baring his arse to Grub Targeson who miraculously appears in my back lines, the sneaky, infiltrating cock-womble.
- Luckily I get priority again and duck Hadron out of the way of Grub.
- I charge Epstein Essos forward to deliver a knockout blow with his shock stave. Josh’s Juve hits the deck.
- Epstein’s courage is rewarded with a Krak grenade to the face, fired from a freshly recovered champ. Fortunately he's only knocked out cold.
- I send my flamer forward who fails to wound his target and is then blindsided by Josh’s second champ. This time plasma does the hurt. Another Giga Ghost goes OOA.
- Things are looking bleak for the Ghosts by now. Another reinforcement arrives but the damage was already done. Time for a bottle roll. With home turf advantage I was confident this wouldn’t be a problem. A pair of 6’s on the dice proved me wrong, it was tome to go. My sub-plot meant that my whole gang were on +2 Cool. They weren't sticking around.
- Florian signals the retreat and the Giga Ghosts leave the Weapons Dealership to the Gear Heads. GG.

The Gear Head
Ophistus was a low born, low rank, low wit sump scrounger. He is one of many, he exiss amongst the in the throng of forgotten beneath the under hive.
His kind soft through the mountains of waste and scrap left by the world above, a world they trade with for small morsels of food.
he doesnt remember much about the day his life changed, it was just another day in the sump, why would he? But those eye, the eyes that haunt his dreams and every waking koment... they were cold reflective lenses hiding in a dark corner, inviting him in before he was consumed by an iron nest of tenticled. Yes... he remembers that... Not much else.
He s part of the machine now, he can't remember the last time he had control over his own body.
When they found him they were petrified, horrified by this tangle of blood, sinew and metal. The men who found him should have put a slug in his head and put and end to it, oh why wont they do it...
The people of the scrap heaps began to hold this creature in reverence, a melding of life and machine, an Avatar of the machine gods will!
So his life continued, worshipped by a cult blind to his pain. His screams of anguish ignored or worse... studied as portents from a higher power.
'Mecha boss, ma'sheen God'the words of the congregation before him. slaves almost as much as he was to the will of the machine which is now his prison.
With each victory the cruel steel and coiled cables consume a little more of him and the boy who was ophistus fades. His worshippers grow strong, bold... greedy
The gears heads they are called beyond the scrap caves, fanatical cultists of the machine Gods. They spread through the under hive searching for ancient artifacts and lost tech with their Avatar in toe. A gargantuan monstrosity of steel tenticled death who's screams of anguish haunt those who survive the blue flames of his flamer...

CONCLUSIONThat's a wrap folks! 4 months and dozens of games later, Gunk Springs is concluded. The triumphs are as follows... POWER BROKER - Gear Heads A very late surge sees the Gear Heads secure the top spot for Rep. Now all shall know their name and exploits. DOMINATOR - Stonecutters With a whopping 7/24 territories, Homer of House Delaque dominate Gunk Springs. SLAUGHTERER - Trojan MC Keeping the Corpse Guild very happy, 33 'kills' for Vizla and his biker clan. LOOTER - Giga Ghosts Having ransacked Gunk Springs for all valuebles (and a few traps), the Giga Ghosts mbove out to persue fame, fortune and pleasure houses elsewhere. UNDERHANDED - Precinct 13 Makes sense that the bentest cops on Necromunda got this one... GUNKMASTER - Draw The Gear Heads and Stonecutters drew for this Triumph with 11 stamps each meaning nobody gets it. Life sucks! PRIZES TO FOLLOW! Many thanks to all that took part and made this campaign such a boner inducing experience. Loads of cool ideas in the pipeline for Campaign IV. Brace yourselves, THE LAW is coming... ++
